A Magic tournament is Swiss rounds first and a bracket second. Everybody plays a fixed number of rounds against opponents on a similar record, and the top eight of the standings then play a single elimination cut to decide the event. This page draws that cut. It does not pair the Swiss, and no page here does.
Seeding the top eight is not optional the way it is at a casual event. The standings order decides who plays whom: first seed meets eighth, second meets seventh, third meets sixth and fourth meets fifth. Type the eight players in standings order with first place at the top, and the draw comes out exactly right.
Single elimination of eight, seeded by Swiss standings, which is the cut every Magic event uses. This tool does not produce Swiss pairings, so run those in your store software and bring the top eight here.
A best of three match with sideboarding is a fifty minute round. Quarter finals, semi finals and the final are three rounds, so budget about three hours for the cut.
Enter the top eight in standings order. Seed one meets seed eight, seed two meets seven, and the bracket handles the rest of the pairing.
The higher seed chooses to play or draw in each match. The bracket records who won, so note the choice on the printed sheet if it matters to you.
For Swiss pairings, use your store or event software. This draws the bracket that comes after them, not the rounds themselves.

Seeds are paired so the strongest and weakest meet first, which keeps the top seeds in opposite halves of the draw. This is the order the board is drawn in, top to bottom.
Rounds run one after another, because a round cannot start until the one feeding it has finished. Matches inside a round can all run at once, so the number of tables you have decides the day more than the number of entrants does.
