Four teams playing everyone is six matches across three rounds, with two matches running at once in each round and nobody sitting out. It is the shortest schedule where every team plays every other team, which makes it the fairest possible way to separate four teams.
Points are three for a win and one for a draw. With only three matches each, ties on points are common at this size, so decide in advance how you will break them: the head to head result is the usual rule, and it is always decisive between two teams here.

Rounds run one after another, because a round cannot start until the one feeding it has finished. Matches inside a round can all run at once, so the number of courts you have decides the day more than the number of entrants does.
